Introduction

Saibaan Development Organization is a non-governmental, not for profit, Right Based development organization having its main office at Mansehra, KP, Pakistan and coordination office at Islamabad, Pakistan.

Saibaan Development Organization,  known as Saibaan was founded by a group of young professionals in 1999, later on registered under the Societies Act 1860 in June 2000. Since 1999, Saibaan is working for the betterment of rural communities in different areas of Pakistan. Establishing and fostering grassroots level institutions in the shape of Community Based Organizations (CBOs) and Village Development Organization (VDOs) to enable the rural communities to take charge of their development initiatives on sustainable basis. Within a period of a decade, Saibaan has earned a good name and become a prominent organization at the arena of development. Saibaan is one of the few national level development organizations who have the honor to become full member of Humanitarian Accountability Partnership (HAP). Luckily, the name of Saibaan is included among the 1ST batch of t 50 organizations in the world. In the beginning of 2011, Saibaan was certified by the Pakistan Center for Philanthropy (PCP). Saibaan is also member of number of other national and international development networks.
