Saibaan Development Organization is a non-governmental, not-for-profit, right-based national organization headquartered in Mansehra, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Founded in 1999 and registered under the Societies Act in June 2000, Saibaan started with local capacity-building projects and gradually expanded to remote and underserved communities across Pakistan.
The profile highlights Saibaan’s work for the uplift of rural communities, with a strong focus on marginalized groups, especially women and children. Over the years the organization has implemented more than 45 projects with support from more than 25 international partners and government agencies.
Its programming spans women empowerment, child rights and child protection, emergency response, disaster risk reduction, WASH, education, health, livelihoods and climate change.
